Summer is here!!! ABQ Volleyfest Series is now up and running for
all age groups. The individual points winners will be awarded to the top three place standing, both adults
and juniors in their respective divisions. These points will be accumulated throughout the summer, competing in
all ABQ Volleyfest Series. At the end of the series, individual points winners will receive prizes from
the AVP Store, Volleyball Mecca, Volleyhut, Koa Nalu, and other supporting sponsors.
We were
thrilled to host this year's outdoor volleyball events and hopefully become successful throughout the summer.
We encourage all level of players; from beginner to advance competitors competing in various divisions and formats. There
will be more juniors and adults outdoor volleyball tournaments (both sand & grass) throughout Albuquerque and its
surrounding areas. ARVC will help sponsor and host most of these events. More information about these tournaments,

ABQ Volleyfest
Series Outdoor Volleyball Tournament started in the summer of 2005. The tournament was first introduced to provide
individuals and teams an opportunity to compete locally here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Outdoor volleyball is
a growing sport for both adults and juniors at all skill levels. The tournaments consists of various divisions at different
team levels, DOUBLES, TRIPLES, 4's, COED, REVERSE COED, and JUNIORS; provide different levels of competition (upper/lower
for adults, 15 and under/16-18 for juniors). These events also prepare individuals and teams to compete at nationally
recognize outdoor volleyball events throughout the southwest region of US. Albuquerque players has been taken advantages
in these tournaments competing, which has proven successfully at the 2006 & 2007 Mother Lode Volleyball Classic resulting
numerous TOP 10 FINISHERS in Men's Masters, Men's BB, Men's B, Women's A, Women's BB, Women's
B, Coed Open, Coed A, Coed BB, and Coed B
We invite players and teams all over NeW MexicO, ColoradO,
TexaS, and ArizonA to compete. ABQ Volleyfest not only brings the spirit of competition, but teaches other how to play
the outdoor game, achieve to a higher skill level, and to meet new friends at a great atmosphere.
As for newcomers into this sport, outdoor volleyball is totally different compare to indoor volleyball. You
still have to do your passing, serving, spiking, and blocking; but other things that indoor may do are not allow outdoor.
For instance; open hand dinking and hand passing on serve are NOT allow outdoors. To understand more about outdoor
game, ARVC (Albuquerque Rebels Volleyball Club) will be conducting outdoor volleyball practices and training throughout the
