Club Philosophy Albuquerque
Rebels Volleyball Club (ARVC) is trying to teach its players volleyball skills that will translate and carry over into life
lessons. These include learning how to play as a team, help others, good sportsmanship, good decision making,
and how to deal with the agony of defeat and revile in the thrill of winning. Each coach will train players
how to develop skills and explain why they are asking players to complete these skills. The club
would like each athlete to understand why they are doing certain skills to raise their level of awareness in the game of volleyball.
Older players will be asked to help out with younger players because being able to teach others shows a higher level
of understanding of the game.

Aloha parents, players, and supporting guardians. ARVC will entering its 12th volleyball club season, and it feels good to
be back. We are looking forward to a great season and tons of FUN. We will be introducing our new coaches and
new tournament schedule for the traveling teams. Hopefully, that everyone's summer vacation, fall volleyball season,
volleyball camps, and training will pay-off for this year's club season. If not, that's what we are here for,
prepare you for everything in volleyball and also in life skills. ARVC will be annoucing it's tryout schedule for the month of November 2008. Stay tune for additional annoucement
and information. Again, let me welcome you to the 2009
volleyball season. Aloha, Fred Ader, Club Director
