Coach Dulce is a passionate and dedicated volleyball coach from Northern New Mexico, with over 11 years of experience in the sport. A 2020 graduate of Española Valley High School, Dulce went on to play at Trinidad State College in Colorado, continuing her love for volleyball as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. Throughout her playing career, she was a standout athlete, earning accolades such as Powerade Player of the Year in 2019 and ranking #9 in kills across all classes in New Mexico as a sophomore. Dulce was a dual sport athlete, playing year-round tennis.  She was fortunate to play for ARVC at age 16, where she competed on the 16N1s team under coach Minh.

Dulce’s passion for coaching stems from her desire to make a lasting impact on athletes—not just as players, but as individuals. She believes in creating a positive, supportive environment that embraces both athletic and personal growth. For her, coaching is about more than just winning games; it’s about teaching teamwork, resilience, discipline, and integrity both on and off the court.

Currently, Dulce works for Albuquerque Public Schools with the “Children’s Choice” after-school program. She is also a senior in college, with an Associate of Science in Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in the works. Next year, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, blending her passion for helping others with her love for sports.

In her free time, Coach Dulce enjoys spending time with family, working out, and cooking. As a coach, she is committed to helping athletes not only improve their volleyball skills but also grow into strong, confident individuals who will carry the lessons they learn on the court into all aspects of life. We’re so excited to have another former Rebel joining our coaching staff!
