She played for Del Norte High School and throughout her Club career for, ARVC, and DCVA, gaining invaluable experience and skills on the court.
Currently attending CNM, Coach Elena is studying sterile processing while keeping volleyball at the forefront of her life. Though she still plays when she can, coaching has allowed her to maintain her connection to the sport that has been such a significant part of her journey. Volleyball is more than just a game for her—it’s a passion that she’s determined to keep alive through coaching, ensuring that the sport continues to shape her life in meaningful ways. She finds joy in passing along the knowledge and experiences she’s gathered over the years, hoping to inspire others to develop the same love for volleyball that has been so important in her own life.
As a new coach, Elena’s coaching philosophy, but she places great emphasis on respect—for teammates, coaches, and the game itself. She believes that fostering a supportive and respectful environment is key to helping athletes build confidence and improve both as players and people. When she’s not on the court, Coach Elena enjoys reading poetry books.
Coach Elena is excited to pass on her love for volleyball to the next generation and is committed to making the sport a lifelong part of her own life and those she coaches. She’s eager to continue growing as a coach while helping her players reach their full potential both on and off the court. ARVC is lucky to have yet another former player and young coach join our organization. We’re forever grateful for the perspective, experience and impact coaches like Elena have on our younger Rebels.
