Emily O’Roark

Emily O’Roark, a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, with six years of competitive experience under her belt, Emily has showcased her versatility as a middle blocker and opposite hitter.

Emily’s journey in volleyball has been shaped by her time with ARVC, where she showcased her talent during her final club season. Transitioning from player to mentor, Emily has dedicated herself to coaching, spending a year with NM Elite and three years with Bosque High School. Her impact on the next generation of athletes is profound, driven by her belief in the transformative power of sports.

A proud alumni of Volcano Vista High School and a current student at UNM, Emily’s dedication to volleyball extends beyond the court. As a Strength and Conditioning Coach at 8 Grady’s Performance Center, she channels her passion for the sport into helping athletes reach their full potential. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes open communication, trust-building, and holistic athlete development.

She continues to impart invaluable lessons of teamwork, communication, and discipline, shaping not just athletes, but well-rounded individuals ready to tackle any challenge that comes their way.
