ALMUNI ALERT!!! Introducing yet another, player turned coach!
Coach Isa is from Albuquerque, NM and a former Rebel. She is currently student at Albuquerque High School (class of 2025). Isa has played volleyball for 8 years, primarily as a setter, with experience as a DS as well. She played for ARVC for 7 years and Albuquerque High School for 3 years.
Although this is her first year coaching, Coach Isa is excited to share her love for volleyball and inspire athletes to not only develop their skills but also to keep their passion for the game alive. She has a deep passion for wanting to help athletes fall in love with the game. She believes volleyball is an incredible sport that can teach athletes valuable lessons both on and off the court. Isa is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), with plans to pursue a BSN and eventually become a Nurse Practitioner.
Her coaching philosophy is still evolving, but one thing she knows for sure is that volleyball has the power to shape individuals in meaningful ways. She brings ARVC a unique perspective not only being a former player, but, being a young person herself. We’re lucky to have such a selfless and driven person helping shape our younger rebels.
Outside of volleyball, Coach Isa enjoys crocheting, reading, and spending time with her friends. She is excited to guide athletes through their volleyball journey while helping them grow both as players and as individuals.
