bio
Coach Zoe grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is an ARVC Alumn! Zoe played high school ball at Sandia High, and went on to continue her volleyball career at Trinidad State, graduating in 2023. She comes to us with over 12 years of experience, where she played as a setter which has heavily influenced her style of coaching and understanding of the game.
As mentioned, Coach Zoe is a long time member of the ARVC family. She made a remarkable impact during her 10 years with ARVC. She was the type of athlete who not only made her team & teammates better, but, helped was part of a team that made a legendary impact on the success of ARVC as an organization. During her time as an athlete she realized a true passion for coaching and wanted to help young athletes not only develop their skills but also foster the same love and passion for the game that she’s always had. We’ve had the privilege of having Zoe back at ARVC, but, in her new role as a coach for the past 3 years. Zoe is dedicated to implementing a new standard of coaching that puts athletes first and focuses on their holistic development both on and off the court.
Currently pursuing a career in nursing, Coach Zoe brings a unique perspective to coaching, valuing discipline, care, and dedication both on the court and in life. Her coaching philosophy centers on the idea that there is always room for growth, and that every effort—no matter how small—contributes to progress. They emphasize the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and mutual support, believing that a strong team dynamic lays the foundation for both individual and collective success.
Coach Zoe’s favorite quote – “A champion is made from perseverance, dedication, and the will to keep pushing when others give up,”
