Born in Spokane, Washington, Coach Dana Bird lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he is a small business owner and a strong supporter of the Tingley Children's Hospital, focusing on fundraising events. He has been coaching for 19 years. 10 years at the middle and high school levels and 10 years at the club level. He is entering his 11th year with ARVC and brings a tremendous wealth of volleyball knowledge of competition at all levels, including at the USAV Adult National and USAV Senior National levels. Coach Dana will be heading a 14's National team and assisting regional and local coaches throughout the organization. Coach Dana currently holds USAV-CAP1 and NFHS Level 1 certifications in volleyball coaching.
