Born in Spokane, Washington, Coach Dana Bird lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he is a small business owner and a strong supporter of the Tingley Children's Hospital, focusing on fundraising events. He has been coaching for 21 years. 10 years at the middle and high school levels and 11 years at the club level. He is entering his 13th year with ARVC and brings a tremendous wealth of volleyball knowledge of competition at all levels, including at the USAV Adult National and USAV Senior National levels. Coach Dana will be heading a 14R1 Adidas team. Coach Dana currently holds USAV-CAP1 and NFHS Level 1 certifications in volleyball coaching.
