Julia Collins

11U Academy Lead Coach

Julia is originally from Arkansas but has lived in Albuquerque since 2011 with her husband and three kids.

She started her volleyball career in Memphis, TN playing for Memphis Juniors at the age of 13. She was recruited by Greensboro College and played all four years as the starting setter. She received her Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Studies with a minor in business.

Throughout her college career she traveled throughout North Carolina and Virginia assisting her volleyball coach at camps for girls in area high schools. After graduation she stayed in Greensboro and assisted at her Alma Mater for two years.

She began coaching for ARVC in 2019 as an assistant and has since moved into a lead position. She enjoys coaching the younger athletes because it’s rewarding to see their excitement when something clicks on the court.

She works in the administrative field for CaringCent creating custom fundraising campaigns for College and University Athletic Departments generating new donation dollars to provide more opportunities and resources for college athletes.
