Born in Tualatin, Oregon and raised in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Coach Sarah is currently a student at the University of New Mexico, pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Coach Sarah started her volleyball career, playing in middle school and high school and in the various clubs in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. Her skills and talent on the volleyball court contributed to many victories, including New Mexico State Volleyball Class 6A Runner-Up. Coach Sarah was very active in coaching while in high school; she started volunteering her time instructing volleyball players from ages 10 through 12 for 3 years. This past 2 summers, she coached in the Skill Train and Play (STP) program, instructing players from the age of 9 through 13. This is her 3rd year coaching with ARVC, where she will be assisting the 11RA Local team (Rebels Academy). She holds a USAV-IMPACT certification in volleyball coaching.
