Leighton brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for volleyball to her role as a dedicated coach. Coach Leighton is entering her third year at ARVC, but has a  six-year coaching background. Leighton played ball at Hope Christian High School, where she graduated in 2014. Her dedication to the game led her to achieve remarkable feats during her high school career, including being recognized as a 4-year letterman, a three-time district champion, and a 3 time recipient of  All District and All State awards.

After high school, Coach Leighton continued on to play college ball at Northwestern Oklahoma and Iowa Central. During her time at Iowa Central she helped lead her team to be Region Champions and an impressive 10th-place finish at Nationals.

Beyond the court, Leighton is a wife and a loving mother to her little girl who is a spirited future cheerleader!

Leighton’s coaching philosophy is grounded in her belief in the power of athletics in shaping young lives. Her passion for volleyball is matched only by her desire to invest in the unique growth journeys and life lessons that our amazing sport offers to children.  Coach Leighton is ready to guide her players toward their own successes, both on and off the court.
