Sid Patel

Coach Sid was born and raised in India. He started playing volleyball when he entered middle school and continued playing throughout his high school years. He played volleyball at district and state level for many years before joining the national team. He played as a setter for 3 years representing his team at the national tournaments.

He went on to pursue his career in medicine and continued to play volleyball during his college years. He moved to United States to further his education and got his masters in Pediatric medicine. He studied further to specialize in Pediatric Cardiology. Coach Sid currently practices as a Pediatric Cardiologist at the Presbyterian hospital in Albuquerque.

Coach Sid is married to his wife and they have two beautiful daughters. He enjoys playing volleyball with his daughters during his spare time when he is not working. He also enjoys traveling to new places and going on long hikes with his family and with his dogs on the weekends.
